Also contributing to Zwick Chimes’ success are a number of neighbourhood-focused real estate websites. The problem? The digital presence that once helped Zwick Chimes grow its team was difficult to manage, no longer reflected the brand and had started to work against it.

A Dynamic Partnership
We worked alongside Zwick Chimes to establish a strategy aligned with the group’s purpose, ambition and their client’s wants. Three goals were identified to guide the project: offer an unparalleled home hunting experience, differentiate Zwick Chimes from its competitors and create a dynamic digital presence that can flex with them as they continue to grow.
From identity and messaging to the digital platform and content within it, we brought Zwick Chimes’ personality and expertise forward to establish an experience that lives their brand message, rather than says it.
Informed by Users
Centred around cultural insights and user behaviour, we built a custom WordPress multi-site framework that communicates Zwick Chimes’ brand in unexpected and delightful ways.
Throughout the user journey, neighbourhood information and property details work together, seamlessly weaving listing with relevant neighbourhood information, like nearby restaurants, parks and schools. With a core focus on user experience, we brought each community site to life with rich photography, compelling copy and delightful micro-interactions that inspire further research and exploration.
Built for Usability
For Zwick Chimes, offering an unrivalled home-searching experience meant building a custom MLS application that serves relevant MLS data in an intuitive, stunning way.
For neighbourhood-specific information like walking scores, proximity to transit we integrated with Google. Nearby restaurants, cafes, shops, parks and attractions were pulled in through Yelp and Yellow Pages.

Each of Zwick Chimes’ new neighbourhood sites displays listings within their respective area. And, to ensure users never lose track of a specific listing, we created favouriting functionality so they could re-visit them when needed, or share them with a friend or family.
All this, built on a custom, dynamic technical framework that allows Zwick Chimes to rollout new neighbourhood websites and manage them internally, while maintaining brand consistency.

As we designed Zwick Chimes’ brand system, we established brand guidelines and standards that communicate how to best represent the brand across channels.
The new guidelines help Zwick Chimes express their purpose and personality. It also provides direction for the visual and verbal standards that we refined to define their new brand identity.
